My healing book
I was diagnosed with metastasized breast cancer in far advanced stadium on 22. December 2020. Now journeying with cancer relapse since July 2023, I have died and resurrected so many times that I like to tell my story of artchemy (art & alchemy) of how I learned to love my demons into diamonds.
As Rumi, a Sufi poet, says: "The wound is where the Light enters you."
We need courage and grace to dive into the most deeply hidden places of ourselves, because that is where the key to healing can be found. That is where we turn our demons into diamonds. Illness and other highly challenging life experiences are a fact of life. Whether it is a personal health crisis or a sick loved one, none of us can escape this life without encountering some form of life-threatening illness and eventually, death.
